This is the first string figure DVD to be filmed in Hawaii. In addition to learning how to make string figures you will hear the stories and Hawaiian chants that accompany them. The DVD was filmed with an awareness of the beauty and sacredness of the place we were standing on. When Lois performs the string figure named Wailua, you will see the river and mountains of this special place.

Everything is filmed in nature with the intention of sharing the energy of the island and giving more understanding to the many levels of HEI.
