This first of three representations of the String Figure Po (night) is again shown at the junction of the Lumaha'i stream with the ocean and beach. The splash of waves in the background give a sense of sunset; the time of the sun moving into the night (Po.) The complexity of the figure gives a glimpse into the creative process it represents.
