| While learning the Ancient Art of String Figures we discovered the magic of photographs and videos of the process. Dave Titus' videos are a delight and to be found at www.stringfigurestore.com. We have taken the process to a different point. We noticed that the figures relate to place names and have performed the figure at the place given in the story and present them here both in the physical location and as a vision of my mana'o. The photos are taken on an Olympus Digital Camera and processed directly on a Macintosh laptop computer using Adobe Photoshop and Graphic Convertor (a shareware program obtainable from Thorston Lemke at http://www.lemkesoft.com/ |
